Our Christmas comes this year from Bolivia, Caranavi region. The flavour spectrum of this wonderful coffee is dominated by Seasonal flavours like chocolate, toffee and fig. The coffee is both Fairtrade and Organic certified.
The coffee is cultivated by the cooperative Mejillones. It was founded 1988 and has nowadays 80 members. The coffee farms are sized in average 4-8 hectares and each farmer handles the wet and dry processing at their own farms, respectively. Fairtrade premium has helped the farmers get educated and widen their knowhow of sustainable farming practices.
