This single origin Ethiopian is an organic and fair trade coffee from the Yirgacheffe region. The coffee has typical characteristics of the area: a velvety mouthfeel paired with a floral and citrus flavor profile. At its best, the slightly acidic and multidimensional Ethiopia works for all types of brewing methods.

In Ethiopia, the country of origin for most Arabica varieties, coffee bushes often grow wild in forests. There are mainly smallholders in these areas who deliver coffee berries straight to the washing stations. Our new Ethiopia is processed on the Koke Cooperative premises, which is part of the larger Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union (YCFCU), where farmers grow coffee organically predominantly on small areas of land.
